Programs for adults/youths (13+)

GROUP LESSONS We can accommodate any ability in a group lesson. Class minimum is three.

BEGINNER PACKS This is a value-packed introduction to the slopes and available to Level 1 Beginners only. Classes run weekday mornings at 9:30 starting January 4, 2010. Price: $64 and includes: 1 day Magic Carpet lift ticket, 1 day equipment rental.

GROUP SKI AND BOARD LESSONS Learn to ski or snowboard in our popular group lessons. Our Beginner Group Lesson for Level 1 Skiers and Boarders is offered daily at 10:30am and 1:00pm. For Level 2 and up we offer group lesson times at 9:30, 11:00 and 2:30. Price: 1-day $35 2-days $66.5 3-days $94.5

PRIVATE LESSONS When booking a private lesson guests have the option of requesting their favorite instructor. What could be better than having one of our Ski or Board Pros to yourself!

PRIVATE 1 HOUR Enjoy a personalized one hour long ski or snowboard lesson. Private Lessons are offered daily at 9:30, 10:30, 11:30 and 1:00, 2:00and 3:00. Price: One person $59. Price for additional person $40

PRIVATE HALF DAY Let us guide your learning in this 3-hour session. Bring along friends and family and share the cost. Private Half Day Lessons are offered daily at 9:30 and 1:00. Price: $169 for the first three people. Price for additional person $40

LADIES DAY Ladies – you deserve a mid-week break! Come and enjoy our friendly and informal Ladies program. Spend the afternoon improving your skills with one of our professional instructors on the slopes and then indulge in a very special lunch. The Ladies Day program runs over four consecutive Wednesdays and over two different sessions! Wednesdays at 12:00pm First Session starts January 13th 2010. Second session starts February 24th 2010. $239* includes:

• Four 1¼ hour lessons
• Four ½ day lift passes plus
• Lunch at Desperado’s lounge. Ladies Day Drop in $62

Programs for kids

The Kids programs are meant to teach everyone to ski and ride safely while having the most fun. Special attention is paid to the Tots in our school – one on one is the best way for the little ones.

Tots programs (3-5)

TOTS PRIVATE LESSON (5 & under) Since you can ‘ t always know if they ‘ ll make it for a whole hour, try it out in a simple ¼ hour format. Upgrading to an hour is super easy. Offered daily at 9:30am and 12:00 Noon. Price: $39 upgrade to an hour for $20

KIDS ADVENTURE CLUB (Ages 6 to 12) An action-packed program of games and fun designed to improve a child’s ability to ski or ride safely. Includes:

SNOWBIRDS (Ages 4 to 8 ) Snowbird is a great value 5-week children’s learn to ski program. Session One: Starts Sunday, January 10, 2010 for 5 weeks. Register by Monday, January 4th Session Two: Starts Sunday, February 21, 2010 for 5 weeks. Register by Monday, February 15th Price: Lessons $99, 5 ½ Day Rentals $45, 5 ½ Day Lift Passes $40

NANCY GREENE SKI LEAGUE Designed for children ages 6 to 10 and develops safe skills in a fun environment. Starts Saturday January 9, 2010 and runs for 10 weeks. Price: $325. Participants qualify for a discounted Season’s lift pass for only $110.

NANCY GREENE SKI LEAGUE PLUS Designed for children ages 7 to 12 and is geared towards the next level with a strong emphasis on ski competition. The program is held over a 14-week period starting Saturday, December 19, 2009 with classes twice a week. Minimum 6 participants required. Price: $650. Participants qualify for a discounted Season’s lift pass for only $110.

RBC RIDERS (Ages 8 to 14) RBC Riders is a 10-week snowboard free ride program for children with the minimum ability to ride green runs. Starts Saturday, January 9, 2010 Price: $325. Participants qualify for a discounted Season ‘ s lift pass for only $110 (or $135 for ages 13-14)

THURSDAY FUN RACES Free for everyone! Ski or Snowboard, Beginner or Expert! Race starts at 1:00pm sharp every Thursday afternoon. Sign up at the Ski and Snowboard School desk in the main ski chalet.

27TH ANNUAL STARLIGHT CHALLENGE You don ‘t need to be an expert racer to compete. Just have a great night on the slopes! Any downhill sport is welcome, as well as any ability – as long as you ‘ re confident on blue runs. Teams of four compete based on the smallest difference between two runs on a dual slalom style race course. The team winner is chosen based on overall team consistency over the four-night series. There are nightly awards for fastest and most consistent. Every Saturday night throughout February, Fairmont Hot Springs Resort Ski Area hosts the 27th Annual Starlight Challenge.

The 27th Annual Starlight Challenge Event package includes:

• 4 x Friday night lift tickets valid 4:00pm to 9:00pm
• 4 x organized two-run dual races

Awards dinner

The Challenge takes place every Saturday throughout February. Adult League Race start: 7:15pm Register by January 30 Four person teams of skiers, boarders or mixed. Individual racers welcome Starlight Challenge Package only $89* per person, including night lift tickets (rentals not included). Drop ins welcome too!
